If have seen a cycle on our site, and would like to place an order at one of our shops, you can do so by telephoning the store direct (see L/H menu for store location and details).
We will only require a small deposit from your credit/debit card, and you pay the balance upon collection at the store. By doing this, we will ensure that the bike is reserved in your name, and will be ready at the store to ride away, having undergone a full pre-assembly inspection and safety check.
We can, at the same time, have any accessories that you may require, pre-fitted to the cycle - you might like to look at our range of special offer accessory packs and chose one of these for your cycle (when calling we will advise which one will fit best to the particular model). |

| RESERVE FOR 24 HOURS (NO DEPOSIT) |
We also appreciate that you may have seen something that you like, but are unsure of the size, suitability etc. We are happy in this instance, to put your selection aside for you for 24 hours, without asking for a deposit. The cycle will be reserved in your name for a day, so that you can at least put a temporary hold on it until you get to the store – we recommend you to do so in this situation, as whilst we have literally thousands of bikes in our warehouse, we may only have one or two of your particular model left in stock. You can of course, just visit any one of our stores and take a bike with you on the day. But whilst we will endeavour to supply you the bike of your choice as quickly as possible, at our busiest times, this is not always possible. |

| Ordering on-line for home delivery in a box |
As a company, we believe that cycles are best supplied assembled, with the correct advice given on size and comfortable riding position etc. At our stores we can guide you through the range, give you this advice, and more, on safety, security and maintenance.
You can then take the bike "ready to ride", with confidence that your cycle has been pre-assembled by our experienced technicians, and that we are there to help you with any query that you may have in the future, to keep you on the saddle, and enjoying your purchase.
However, you may have found our site and seen a product you like, but not live anywhere near one of our stores. In this case, our main supplier can offer this facility online. www.discountcycleshop.co.uk has been set up by them and replicates some of our web pages, so that you can see the product in the same format. You can then place an order there, for home delivery.
We are happy to recommend the above site for on-line sales, as we know the high quality of the product that you will be supplied. Please however, be aware of the criteria that you will be supplied your cycle, should you use the above site.
It will be in a box and will require assembling. You will need appropriate metric size spanners etc to assemble properly, and will need a reasonable knowledge of cycles, or if not will need to be prepared to pay a bike shop to do this for you (some online sites make it sound like you will get the bike in an almost "ready to ride" state - this is not the case).
So if this hasn't put you off buying on-line (perhaps we make it sound a little daunting, but what we honestly believe you will have a far better experience of buying a cycle, by getting it from a proper bike shop), then you may consider this option.
Just one final note on this;
By buying on-line, you will obviously pay a delivery fee - if you live fairly locally to one of our stores, and have no transport available to you, the cost of a local taxi from the shop (taking the bike pre-assembled) may not cost any more than this, and you would then have the peace of mind that your cycle has been assembled by one of our trained technicians.
